Detailed Description
Working closely with students and postdocs, the Research Assistant will contribute to research projects related to understanding memory and cognition in the mammalian brain. Responsibilities include handling mice, running histology experiments, conducting brain slicing, and using both immunohistochemistry and microscopy techniques. Additionally, some time will be spent helping with the daily operations of the lab and overseeing the mice colony.
Job Requirements
Bachelor's degree in science required. Must be willing to handle mice. Prior experience handling mice is preferred. Must have excellent verbal and written communication skills, a strong work ethic, motivation, and drive. Must be flexible in working independently, as well as with a team.
